H. Edward Black and Associates P.C.’s mission is to enhance the built
environment through the preservation of sensitive natural areas, the
creative use of land molding techniques, and the imaginative application of land planning strategies and practices.    

H. Edward Black and Associates P.C. provides a full spectrum of
professional land planning and design services, including land
planning, site analysis, landscape architecture, civil engineering,
project administration, construction document preparation,
maintenance programming and resource management.

We work closely with our clients in securing municipal, county,
state and federal government approvals for projects, and provide
complete site planning and design services, including layout,
grading, roadway and parking area design, erosion control, storm-
water management, construction observation and long-term
maintenance management.

Our professional staff have nearly two centuries of combined
experience and includes licensed Landscape Architects and
Civil Engineers; certified land planning and engineering technicians;
Compute-Aided-Design(CAD) designers; and administrative and
support staff. We are licensed to provide services in Pennsylvania,
Maryland, New York, Virginia and New Jersey.

Our team of skilled land planners, landscape architects and civil engineers includes experts in land analysis and development that guide your project from start to finish in an orderly, prompt and cost effective manner. Our design solutions are built upon “creative” landscape architecture that is supported by comprehensive engineering.
